Alabama Funny Sayings

Wave in Comics TV

Tuesday, March 15, 1977 at 20.40 seconds on the RAI television channel aired the first episode of "Supergulp! Comics on TV." The idea was simple but very innovative: to bring television, color, comics and cartoons by these traits.

An experiment in this direction had already been done in 1972 with the broadcast "Gulp!" Made of black and white by the same authors (Guido De Maria and Giancarlo Governments).

When you spread the notes of the marking head Supergulp to the attention of children in Italy (and the adults with them) from the Alps to the Ionian Sea is catalyzed to the small screen. The success of the transmission, at a time when television offers, however, was largely confined to the RAI, it is impressive, with an approval rating of 83%.

The history of comics, however, had begun long before, and is closely tied to that of printed paper. It was the circulation of newspapers, from the nineteenth century to determine the success of "strips" each day or week.

The most famous of these "pioneers" of the Yellow Kid comic was, the baby dressed in yellow by Richard F. Outcault. Occasionally appeared in the magazine "Truth" between 1894 and 1895, knew the real success when it was published in the Sunday color supplement of the New York World of Joseph Pulitzer.

Tornando a Supergulp, l’autore della sigla è il milanese Franco Godi, known under the nickname of "Mr. Jingle" as was the author of the music of many commercials and television themes. In the field of cinema has worked with directors such as Gillo Pontecorvo, Renato Olmi, Vittorio De Sica and Gabriele Salvatores.

course, the success of Supergulp was decreed by the stories brought to the small screen. Among the characters are funny characters such as Nick Carter, Alan Lupo Alberto Ford to the group TNT or Sturmtruppen; adventurous or inquisitive of mysteries, like Tintin, the Phantom and Corto Maltese. There also were the superheroes as the Fantastic Four, Thor and Spider-Man.

About the latter, Symbol of the cartoon "Spider-Man" in 1967. The text, which opens with the famous "Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does whatever a spider can," was written by Paul Francis Webster, a composer who won an Academy Award three times and was nominated sixteen times for the same prize. In 2004, Michael Buble has recorded for the soundtrack of the movie Spiderman 2, a successful cover of this song in a jazz style.

The battle that changed the history of flying in the wind Words

In 751 an Arab general defeated a Chinese army near the River Talas, in the Kazakhstan. Among the many prisoners taken on that occasion there were some knowledge of a secret that had long been kept by the Empire of the Dragon. Brought to Samarkand they were persuaded, or forced, to put this ability in the service of the winners. So it was that in Samarkand began the first production of paper in the Islamic world, who escaped the Chinese kept the secret for about seven centuries. Like many other inventions

card also comes from China. The Chinese, however, were not the only ones to discover this secret.
seems that already in the first millennium BC, a form of paper was manufactured and used in Mexico from what is considered the most mysterious of pre-Columbian civilization, the Olmec. The Olmecs developed many of the items taken later by the Maya and Aztec cultures, reaching high levels of education, before suddenly disappearing into thin air. Among their findings, there was also the manufacture of paper. Boiling the inner bark of certain plants was obtained a pulp which was used to produce a paper which was called "amatl" and that the English conquistadors called it "love."

In Europe, however, the card came through the Muslim world.
The paper began to reach Europe from North Africa and from Syria in the twelfth century was really poor quality and the Emperor Frederick II forbade it to be used for public documents, ordering that they were drawn up on the most expensive and durable parchment, made from the skins of sheep, goat or beef. In 1268 he went to Fabriano, however, the first European production of paper, which improves the quality they allowed a very rapid spread across Europe.

Returning to the Chinese, it is believed that they were invented, in addition to the notes, even playing cards. As for paper, however, were the Arabs to their introduction in Europe.
Playing cards came to Italy from Egypt in the second half of the fourteenth century. The deck consisted of 52 carte divise in quattro semi: bastoni da polo, denari, spade e coppe.

In addition to the 22 Major Arcana cards include normal or "triumph". Curiously, some other figures also appear in the decks then later disappeared, as the "girl" and the "lady on horseback."

The White Album and the seven black

On November 22, 1968 was released the ninth album by the Beatles. The official title was simply The Beatles , but it is also known as the White Album or Double White because of the all-white cover with the band's name embossed.
The original title was supposed to be A Doll's House , but was changed due to a very similar album title posted by another British group, the Family.

The album was born after a period of spent three months in India in a place of meditation under the guidance of a Guru Indian leader of a neo-Hindu movement meditation. The Liverpool quartet came home with thirty songs that came together in a double album.
Despite the time devoted to meditation tensions within the group are obvious. Rather than the hard work of a group expresses the personalities of four artists has become increasingly distant from each other. Besides, the Indian
period was full of contradictions, Ringo Starr had left the retreat almost immediately, Paul McCartney got bored after a month, John Lennon left him, dragging George Harrison, when he discovered that the Guru, in addition to seeking to manipulate the group had made explicit sexual advances to a woman who accompanied the troupe of musicians. Deeply disappointed John Lennon wrote the song Sexy Sadie as a kind of accusation against the teacher in which he so believed.

Across the Atlantic, however, there was another character, much more disturbing, watching the Beatles themselves as the masters.
Charles Manson was a boy from the difficult history that had passed between adolescence and youth prisons and reformatory. With a strong personality, had gathered around him fifty boys stragglers who shared with their leader, as well as robbery and drugs, a past difficult. In his delirium

Manson was convinced that the Beatles songs contained messages directed to him.
Moreover, he began to speak of them as the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. It devised a personal apocalypse of blood and violence. On August 9, 1969 a commando composed by members of the Manson Family entered the house of director Roman Polanski in Los Angeles, killing five people, including the director's wife, actress Sharon Tate, eight months pregnant. The director was saved only because that night was in London. In the months following the sect made additional Manson and his brutal murder until they were trapped by a lawyer of Italian descent, Vincent Buglioli, that identified the culprits thanks to a clerical error in the title of a Beatles song, Healter Skelter, which Manson was obsessed with and which he interpreted as "end of the world."

not forget that a tragic fate struck one of the Beatles, John Lennon, who a few years later fell under the blows of the gun of another madman in search of glory.
However, beyond these tragic events from the point the song or musical life is known to have anticipated elements of genres hard rock and heavy metal rock only developed over the years. Even this has been the subject of numerous interpretations by groups such as Aerosmith, Mötley Crüe, Oasis and of course U2.

Last Blade Sprites Sheet

The white stones that traveled to

White is the set of all the colors of the electromagnetic spectrum, but if you mix the primary colors on the palette will get black.
Black and white are the two short sides of the same coin, and much depends on the perspective from which they shall be considered. White is the color of purity, light and beauty. But in China do not go to a party with a white dress. In fact, white indicates the country in mourning, death and ghosts.

When it comes to black and white one can not talk about the colors of the stones of our territory. In particular, white marble and granite.
A little known thing is that the original facade of the Duomo was built with alternating rows of white marble Candoglia in Ossola, and made from green marble quarry Oira on Lake Orta. Lazarus Agostino Cotta, a native of Ameno, testifies that this was done because of reputation for stone Cusiana.

In terms of color, in other words, the ancient facade of the Duomo of Milan looked a bit 'to the Duomo of Monza. The more that this, in the early twentieth century, was restored with its green marble Oira.
In 1682 it was decided to change the facade of the Duomo in Milan, but it took several centuries to allow for completion. Moreover, the length of the work of the Cathedral (officially ended only in 1966) is proverbial in Milan, where the expression "as the building of the cathedral" means works that go with a maddening slowness.

About Candoglia marble, a few years ago was found on the bottom of the lake increased a boat, about 22 feet long by 7 wide, full of stones probably from Candoglia quarries and for the Fabbrica del Duomo in Milan.
The journey of these stones is well known: they were transported by boat on Lake Maggiore, the Ticino and the ships to the dock of the Pond (now Lake street, near State University).
materials traditionally traveled "to UFOs." Nothing to do with flying saucers, of course. These boats were exempted from payment of duties, as the cathedral of Milan, a public work. The goods were marked by "ad usum Fabricae" abbreviated "to UF." The term popular travel "to uf" (in Italian "to UFO") is still used to say "free."

When Clear Liquid Comes Out During Menst

A UFO Wave We are not all white or black

White is the set of all the colors of the electromagnetic spectrum, but if you mix the colors on the palette you will get black. White and black are the two sides of same coin, but rarely will separate in reality, because this is rather composed of a variety of shades of gray, where it is difficult to tell whether there is more white or more black.

However, there is only a radio to help you distinguish black from white and from white to get all the colors of the rainbow: We wave which is Saturday, February 19, at 21 o'clock, will have a whole episode dedicated to black and white theme.

As usual there is a request made to the listeners:

In a world in black and white is allowed to keep only one color: what saved?

Say it by sending a text message or write it on this blog or email. The best responses will be read during transmission.

How Do Roach Droppings Look

Opposing viewpoints

There are fiercely opposing points of view. But what happens when you see opposing points of view on the governments of the two superpowers whose arsenals are full of weapons capable of annihilating all humanity? There are songs that, for some mysterious alchemy that only art is granted, they know perfectly embody the contradictions, the stubborn dark fears and hopes of their time.
In 1985 he released The Dream of the Blue Turtles Sting's first solo album after the breakup of Police. The album contains one of the most involved songs written by Sting. The song is a call to abandon the threatening statements (you mentioned the phrase of the Soviet leader Krushchev "bury you") and the logic of nuclear confrontation supported by U.S. President Ronald Reagan, is also cited.

The central point of the song is how to protect their children from "Oppenheimer's deadly toy."
At that time thousands of nuclear warheads were ready to be launched by the Russians and Americans, who faced off with his finger on the trigger in an exhausting war of nerves called the "Cold War". A war that had no winners, only losers.

The U.S. scientist Oppenheimer is considered the father of the atomic bomb, but he also had a crisis of conscience on the use of the weapon he created.
Even during the nuclear test that took place at Alamogordo, which was shown to be effective the first atomic bomb, Oppenheimer had made a terrible phrase, taken from an ancient Indian scripture, the Bhagavad Gita: "I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds. " After Hiroshima was flattened by the bomb he helped create, said sadly, "The physicists have known sin."
His words were not. After the war opposed the plan to build a much more powerful hydrogen bomb and for this he was accused of being a communist by a witch-hunter of the twentieth century, Senator Joseph McCarthy, obtuse and fanatical persecutor of those who were suspected of doing the "Un-American Activities" .

In the song, Sting puts all his hopes into one, "I hope that the Russians love their children."
whole song is built on this idea to the point that the music is based on a Theme of Sergei Prokofiev (Lieutenant Kije). The choice is not random, since Prokofiev, who had been a great Soviet composer, among many works, he also created music for children as the "Three Songs for Children" and "Peter and the Wolf." This Sting wanted to stress the fact that even the Russians, of course, loved their children. Among other things, the beginning of the song you can hear the voice of a Russian television journalist, Igor Kirillov, announcing a meeting between a Soviet delegation and a western. It is likely that the reference is to one of the first trips in the West (in 1984) of Gorbachev, who a few years later by Ronald Reagan sign their historic treaty that ended the Cold War.

Russians and Americans, in short, in the end they decided that their children were more important than ideology. Beyond conflicts of men and women of good will can find a meeting point from their humanity.

Why Are Rapists Bad For The Internet

milestone in the mystery shop

point is that which has no parts. This means that, as an infinite series of points forming an endless line, a point has no dimension. And therefore will not be measured either in length or width, much less in depth
... For a long time mankind has roamed the Earth. When he finally decided to put down roots, he felt the need to establish dei confini, di delimitare il proprio territorio.

Insomma, i loro rituals had nothing to do with the devil, but were addressed to propitiate the elements to ensure the maintenance of natural cycles and fertility.
In this regard, some of the rocks of our area cup-marks, for example, are mentioned as places where men had to stay away, because with them, the women came to take the children. Sometimes the shells are associated with smooth rocks that acted as slip up with women who wanted to have children, you glide, in the belief of being able to conceive due to the fertilizing power of the stone.

Why Am I Bleeding In Between Periods

Unità d'Italia o Italia Uno?

He returned to writing after a sea of \u200b\u200btime. Work and health, as usual, I have prevented it. It 's amazing how many things have happened since the last time.
While the rest of the world is moving towards a new course, here we are beginning to offend because Mr.B is a pimp.
not because he is a corrupt and corrupting.
not because it has institutionalized the mafia system.
not because it has caused in the last two decades of monetary damages, administrative and social problems to which it will take at least another two decades to remedy.
Just because you go to whores. And maybe even if you choose the small, poor stars.
This implies that perhaps we are not yet ready for a change, if we adopt the soluzioni simili ai problemi che lo hanno generato.
Onestamente, non so dire come andrà a finire.
A little space for maneuver in order to overwhelm the "ordinary citizen", it makes you feel even more cool. And without any shame, I must say that we are the first in this Palermo. The attitude "But I do not know anyone?" or "But we are sure we can not do anything?" for most of us is a prerequisite, is that we must attend to a practice, buy a good or even buy a kilo of bread. "Shit, I need a floor plan of my apartment ... but do not know anyone in the land?". And so on.
Mr.B The success of the system lies precisely in this: in having institutionalized the mafia system, as I always say. Forget the state: the state is against you. If you're one of us, every door you open: you live quiet, we take everything else though. And in exchange for a cage, often not so comfortable, it gives her freedom. Because at least you are sure the cage. Of course, if t'incazzi, we must also make you realize that it is useless, because we are also above the law: what better proof for you to understand that even the state can help you? So, as you've never belonged to your will, however, this "was" far and mysterious, you seem more and more against the cage and the only solution. Every so often you get some satisfaction and still live better than those who oppose it, that you define losers at the start, because it You got taught.
Here, in my opinion there is no life more miserable, there exists more vile and more sinister. But I told you
Italy (again the tiny intended) from '93 onwards.
can no longer be educated and moderate because our partners, and their leaders, both those who believe blindly, the people of Retequattro to be clear, "men and women of Faith" What a coincidence, they are fascists.
Fascist, it's time to call them by their name.
And the force of fascism has always been the cowardice, the cowardice and lack of honor. The fascists
hit you in the group, group in turn, affirm and applaud those who deny having already behind. But, above all, you can not argue with a fascist because he is free to defame, offend, but to lie when you, saturated, to raise a bit 'tones, here is a coward who relies on a law they do not believe either.
A little 'as Mr.B who wants to sue the state or invoking the right to privacy.
And if you think about it, as you profess the fascists against the Mafia, their assets and their systems are equal. Perhaps then it is just afraid of competition.
Until it frees us of this type of mentality, we will never be a country, but the celebrations for the unit.
a civilized and democratic must have a society worthy of the name: as long as we prefer to belong to a criminal and distorted version of the "Mickey Mouse Club" but it gives us some abuse, the better that we attach to neighboring countries.
I, if I choose, give it up willingly Sicily to Spain.

Why Alabama Helmet Says 12

We make the point to wave

point is that which has no parts. This means that, as an infinite series of points forming an endless line, a point has no dimension. And therefore will not be measured either in length or width, much less in depth ...

point of view there is no Euclid greek passion? Let us try with a simple math exercise: add up the points you have earned at the supermarket or gas station by your trust and see if you won something!

This speech, party a bit 'so, all of a sudden, confusing and you have lost your compass to the point that you can not more to identify the cardinal points? Let us take stock of the situation, treating it point by point, your brain before you reach the boiling point, or the melting point, or at least at the critical point, in short, we try to reach a fixed point before coming to a standstill or even to the point of no return.

We would, however, put the facts straight, because there is only one transmission which is the meeting point of the Saturday night radio show and makes you earn points for happiness. And we wave, obviously Puntoradio that Saturday, February 12, at 21 o'clock, will have a whole episode dedicated to the theme POINT.

As usual there is a question addressed to the listeners:

What was your point of no return, that moment in your life when you said you would not come back?

Say it by sending a text message or write it on this blog or email. The best responses will be read during transmission.

The fire of Hell in psychedelic rock

In 1968, when the British group led by The Crazy World Arthur Brown took the stage, the audience was literally shocked. The psychedelic rock sound without guitars but with a powerful accompaniment of a Hammond electric organ, immediately jumped on top of the charts, despite and perhaps because of the furious criticisms leveled against the look of the group, particularly that of its leader, Arthur Brown .

were many, for the time, scandalous elements of this band that had several problems in various countries. From Italy it was even expelled in 1969 with the ban set foot in the country.
's face in white makeup with large black circles (defined Corpse Paint, "Make corpses") was inspired by the warriors of the armed corpse popular in Nordic folklore. Would later become a hallmark of many heavy metal bands, but Arthur Brown was the first to use it on stage. Not content
Brown was performing wearing a helmet on his head that contained a flammable liquid, which was on fire when they went up on stage. Since the hat was made of metal, quickly became almost unbearable pain for the singer. During execution, many times it happened that the burning liquid coming out of the box, setting fire to the hair and clothes. In one case, Brown was saved by the intervention of security that he poured beer on his head to shut it down.
The song was regarded as particularly outrageous. Brown introduced the same reasoning as the cry "I'm the god of Hell's Fire" and the song ended with the sinister hiss of the wind.
must be said, moreover, that the ears of the public Saxon name Hell's Fire drew a series of secret clubs arose in England in the eighteenth century and known just as Hellsfire
Club is not clear what exactly did the members of these circles (which members were part of the most powerful English aristocracy) also se è certo che avessero un orientamento paganeggiante e dionisiaco.
Tra i frequentatori dell’Hellsfire Club figura infatti anche lo scienziato e filosofo Benjamin Franklin, who was a great lover of the fire among his many inventions are the lightning rod and a special stove that bears his name, also gave birth to the first fire insurance and the first corps of volunteer firefighters. But above all it was one of the fathers of the revolution that would inflame the Thirteen Colonies overseas leading to the birth of the United States of America.
The song sung by Arthur Brown, however, was inspired mainly by the motto of Hellsfire Club, "do what you want", and rather should be included in the spirit of rebellion and transgression ("Sex & Drugs & Rock & ; Roll ") that characterized those years.

The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Fire
