The mirror in the traditions ...
There is no doubt that the mirrors are magical. According to tradition, the mirror would even be able to imprison the soul because it reflects it. So in some cultures, the mirrors are covered, the death of a spouse, so that the soul can remain imprisoned instead of reaching the afterlife.
For the same reason, demonic creatures, like vampires and those who have sold their souls to the devil, do not reflect any pictures, because there's no trace of blood in loro corpo.
Reminescenza questa del fatto che un tempo gli specchi erano costosissimi e solo the very rich could afford to take them home. And in the stately tombs there was the custom to lay mirrors as a kit of the deceased, to accompany his soul in eternal journey.
In our area we have some interesting examples of this use. Borgomanero near the hill of San Michele Verzola to the nineteenth century were found in metal mirrors (at the time they did not use glass for the mirrors) of the Roman era. It is unclear whether this is evidence in tombs or offered to the gods. Also from the hill of San Michele is in fact an inscription to the mother goddesses or Matrone. Usually these goddesses were represented in number three. It survived in folklore as fairies or witches, depending on your point of view.

... and music
On 27 June 1992 in Monaco of Bavaria, in front of 74,000 spectators Michael Jackson closed the concert with literally flying off to some sort of space suit with a lot of engines to the tune of a song written by Glen Ballard and Siedah Garrett.
"If you want to make the world a better take a look at yourself and make 'the change, "says the text, which is said to have been composed in the space of one night. In the video images you see go legaste variously to the struggle for human rights in the world, from Martin Luther King at the funeral of John F. Kennedy, by which South Africans march for the release of Nelson Mandela to Mahatma Gandhi.
But there is also a disturbing aspect. The song is mentioned about the bad relationship with Michael with the reflection from the mirror. To change it underwent numerous surgeries and medical treatments, until his death on June 25, 2009 in circumstances still not fully understood.
Michael Jackson “Man in the Mirror”.
