Nothing to be done. Leave me alone, I do not want to know anything. I touched the bottom last night, where I think I have overwritten the file that I had worked, throwing in the toilet all day. Should I do a drawing for one of my amico, prendermi un po' di riposo e staccare un po' la spina, ma credo che verrà rinviato tutto a Marzo. A Marzo, che per ora mi sembra davvero lontanissimo. Nel frattempo la pila di libri/fumetti non letti cresce minacciosamente, promettendomi notti insonni. Vediamo, Marco permettendo, cosa si riesce a fare stasera.
Per intanto, perlomeno, rispolvero vecchi dischi, tipo "...and justice for all!" dei Metallica. C'è chi li ama, chi li odia. Di fatto non possono essere ignorati. Di certo vengono ricordati per dischi più eclatanti tipo "Master of puppets" o per il "Black Album". Ma, a dirla tutta, credo che proprio "...and justice for all!" sia il mio preferito. Realizzato dopo il successo clamoroso "Master of Puppets" with a band still shaken by the death of bassist, replaced by Jason Newsted, the album is a gem for many reasons. By experimenting with new sounds, songs like "One" or the less known "Dyers Eve" that closes the album, more slowly but more engaging, with a gloomy atmosphere that pervades the entire disc and that for once is tangible, real, just think of "Blackened" is a poignant hard, dense and intense, certainly the most singular of Metallica. Maybe it will also serve as a "break" to the "Black Album", where they recovered some of the ballads and sound experience, it is certainly the most "strange" than their discs, something of an anomaly in their style. And perhaps it is this desire to break the mold, to change the path outlined in "Master of Puppets", the true strength of the disc. In my opinion I am not successful with the same intent "Load", even if the roll has been adjusted in "Reload". In the meantime I "shot to 'ball'" To live is to die "in the hope I will load a bit 'for the rest of the day. Then, who will live, will (though I realize only now that with a title like that, the song is not leaving then hope well, well ...).
