report two major initiatives of the 'Cultural Association and publisher XII. The first is the imminent publication of China and Graphite, a series of essays on the comic and its authors. The first title is out Frank Miller, Hollywood pencils on an essay Valentino Sergi , journalist, writer, contributor to the webzine Fucinemute , author of novels and comics, as well as director of the fledgling series. Valentino Sergi traces the career of analyzing the numerous works that have been adapted from a table drawn to the film, and trying to unravel the mechanisms and dynamics of this process. The essay, originally a thesis, was examined and treated in order to be enjoyable and even by the layman.

The second initiative is an extraordinary narrative competition, the Circus Maximus 2009, a literary prize for a fee, where the stories fall into a genuine literary arena, where the author will have to spit blood and creativity through a long tunnel and clashes deletions. There will be a first round of eliminations, where it will leave only the 32 stories that will have access to the group. These will be divided into four groups of eight stories each, and there will be confrontational, "one on one" with a jury whose members will be selected from time to time. For a win in a direct confrontation, the story earns two points for a draw and a defeat for zero points. At the end of all fighting, i primi due classificati di ogni girone e otto ripescati passeranno ai playoffs, basata su scontri a eliminazione diretta.
